Napoli Extend Lead with Victory Over Lecce as AC Milan Stumble Again

Naples: Leaders Napoli beat Lecce 1-0 away thanks to a second-half goal by Andre-Frank Anguissa on Tuesday while AC Milan dropped points for the second consecutive match when they were held 1-1 at Atalanta. Samuele Ricci scored an early opening goal for Milan but Ademola Lookman was on target to equalize for the hosts.

According to Ansa News Agency, Napoli have 21 points from nine games, three points more than second-placed AS Roma, who entertain Parma later on Wednesday, and third-placed Milan. Fourth-placed Inter, who have 15 points, take on strugglers Fiorentina at San Siro on Wednesday.

Caretaker boss Massimo Brambilla will be on the Juventus bench when they take on Udinese in Turin after they sacked coach Igor Tudor on Monday following a slump in form. Juve are eighth with 12 points.
