WWII Partisan Aldo Tortorella, Known as Alessio, Has Died

Rome: World War II partisan fighter Aldo Tortorella, known as Alessio, has died, the national president of the Italian partisans association ANPI, Gianfranco Pagliarulo, announced on Thursday.

According to Ansa News Agency, Pagliarulo expressed his deep sorrow over Tortorella’s passing. He described Tortorella as a lawmaker and an intellectual of significant influence, emphasizing his importance as a reference point for ANPI and anti-Fascists.
