Vatican City: Pope Francis is still suffering from bronchitis and is conducting his audiences at Casa Santa Marta, the Vatican hostel where he resides, rather than the Paul VI Hall. This information was confirmed by the Vatican on Thursday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the Vatican announced that “due to bronchitis from which he is suffering in these days, and in order to continue his activity, on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 February, the audiences of Pope Francis will be held at Casa Santa Marta.” The change in location comes as a precaution to ensure the Pope’s health while maintaining his schedule.

On Thursday, the audiences were also conducted in the residence, highlighting the adjustment in the Pontiff’s routine to accommodate his health condition. The Vatican has not indicated how long this arrangement will continue, but it emphasizes the importance of allowing the Pope to continue his engagements despite his ailment.
