Woman Found Dead in Suspected Femicide, Husband Kills Self

Rivalta: A 50-something woman was found dead in her home at Rivalta near Turin in a suspected femicide on Thursday, and her husband’s body was pulled out of a nearby lake earlier in the day in a suspected suicide. The woman’s body was found on the second floor of an apartment block in a residential zone near the historic centre, police said.

According to Ansa News Agency, the 55-year-old man was seen diving into Lago Grande at Avigliana. He did not re-emerge.
