Vatican City: Priests should live like brothers and not competitors or individualists, Pope Leo XIV said Thursday. He emphasized the importance of unity and camaraderie among priests to foster a stronger community within the Church.

According to Ansa News Agency, Pope Leo XIV also urged Church authorities to actively support and encourage vocations. He highlighted the need for Church leaders to become credible witnesses for young people, thereby inspiring the next generation of clergy.

Addressing a gathering of priests at the Auditorium Conciliazione, Pope Leo XIV assured them that “no one is alone, even in faraway missions.” His message was one of solidarity and support, reinforcing the idea that priests should work together and support each other in their spiritual and pastoral duties.
