Wimbledon: Cobolli into Quarters After Beating Cilic

Rome: Flavio Cobolli got into the Wimbledon quarterfinals for the first time after beating Croatian veteran Marin Cilic in four sets in the round of 16 Monday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the Florence-born 23-year-old, who is the 22nd seed and currently ranked world number 24, triumphed over the 36-year-old former world number three, now ranked number 83. Cobolli secured his win with scores of 6-4, 6-4, 6-7, and 7-6.
