Villa Pamphili Woman Who Died with Daughter Identified

Rome: A woman who was found dead with her six-month-old daughter in Villa Pamphili Park in Rome last Saturday has been identified, police said Thursday night. The woman and child had been living rough in the park for some days, they said. Her name has not yet been disclosed.

According to Ansa News Agency, the Italian media have reported variously that the woman was American or non-European. Her husband, also reportedly a non-European, is said to be on the run.
