UN Should Be Compass for Every Crisis, Says Mattarella in Astana
Astana: President Sergio Mattarella emphasized the crucial role of the United Nations in tackling global crises during his address at the Kazakhstan Academy of Public Administration Training while on an official visit to Astana.
According to Ansa News Agency, President Mattarella highlighted Kazakhstan’s commitment to the United Nations Charter, appreciating the country’s institutions for using the Charter and its values as a guiding framework for addressing crises and conflicts. He noted that individual states alone cannot effectively resolve extensive issues without international cooperation.
Mattarella underscored the shared responsibility between Italy and Kazakhstan to foster dialogue that supports peace, stability, and development aligned with justice, equity, solidarity, and cooperative principles.
