Tunisian Student Drowns in Abruzzo’s Sinizzo Lake

L’aquila: A 21-year-old Tunisian student from Pisa University drowned in a lake near L’Aquila in Abruzzo. This tragic incident occurred at Sinizzo Lake in San Demetrio ne’ Vestini.

According to Ansa News Agency, the student had dived into the lake shortly after having lunch and did not resurface, likely due to congestion, as reported by local police. This marks the second drowning incident in the lake since June, following the death of 21-year-old Rahmat Hussain from Pakistan.
