Tommy Cash Meets Grandmas Who Danced to Espresso Macchiato

Puglia: Estonian Eurovision star Tommy Cash has travelled to Puglia to meet a group of grandmothers in the town of Ostuni who made a viral video of them dancing to his tongue-in-cheek tribute to Italian stereotypes, Espresso Macchiato, which came third in the iconic European musical competition earlier this year.

According to Ansa News Agency, the rapper is seen on social media with the ladies of the “Il filo di Arianna” centre, wandering the alleys of Ostuni’s historic centre. The visit also included dining on a typical Puglian menu that featured the ever-present orecchiette with turnip tops.

Cash and his team took the opportunity to shoot some footage of the grannies, which could be part of his official music video for his upcoming single “Ok.” Cash has enjoyed viral success since the contest with his multi-country hit song and a performance featuring quirky leg moves.
