Three-Mafia Lombard Alliance Suspect Caught

Milan: The key figure in the suspected alliance in Lombardy of Italy’s three mafias ‘Ndrangheta, Cosa Nostra, and the Camorra, Paolo Aurelio Errante Parrino, was apprehended on an arrest warrant in the Hydra probe after being missing for two days, police stated.

According to Ansa News Agency, Errante Parrino, 77, is a cousin of the late Godfather Matteo Messina Denaro and is believed to be the reference point in northern Italy for the latter’s Castelvetrano ‘mandamento’ (chapter) near Trapani. He evaded capture when Carabinieri attempted to serve the arrest warrants on Saturday.
