Leaders Napoli Hand Juve First Defeat of the Season
Serie A Naples: Napoli came from behind to beat Juventus 2-1 on Saturday, handing the Turin giants their first defeat of the season. Debutant Randal Kolo Muani initially put Juventus ahead shortly before half-time. However, the hosts mounted a strong comeback after the break, with Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa scoring a header and Romelu Lukaku converting a penalty to secure victory.
According to Ansa News Agency, Antonio Conte’s Napoli now lead the Serie A standings with 53 points from 22 games. They are six points ahead of reigning champions Inter, who have two games in hand and are set to visit relegation-threatened Lecce later on Sunday. Juventus, having drawn 13 of their 22 games so far, find themselves 16 points behind the leaders, sitting in fifth place.
