Milan: Three individuals were arrested on Tuesday for their alleged involvement in a fire that resulted in the deaths of three young Chinese nationals, including two brothers aged 18 and 17, in a warehouse on via Cantoni in Milan on September 12. The charges include multiple voluntary homicide, arson, and attempted extortion.
According to Ansa News Agency, the primary suspect, a Dutch national of North African descent, was apprehended in Holland under a European arrest warrant. Meanwhile, two Chinese nationals accused of commissioning the fire were detained in Milan. Authorities suggest that the incident was motivated by a debt of 40,000 euros owed by the warehouse owner to one of the arrested individuals. The victims were reportedly guests and were asleep in the building at the time of the fire.
