Tax Revenues Surge by Pound 8.5 Billion in First Half of 2025

Rome: Tax revenues in Italy have seen a significant increase in the first half of 2025, with a total rise of pound 8.5 billion compared to the same period in the previous year. This marks a 3.4% increase in tax revenue, bringing the total to pound 257.3 billion for the first six months of the year.

According to Ansa News Agency, the Bank of Italy reported that in June alone, tax revenues recorded in the state’s budget amounted to pound 43.8 billion. This figure represents a 4.2 percent increase, or pound 1.8 billion more, compared to June 2024. The consistent growth in tax revenues underscores the ongoing fiscal developments within the country.
