Rome: Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani stated on Saturday that he is closely monitoring the recent developments in Syria, emphasizing the role of Italy’s embassy in supporting Italians residing in the country.
According to Ansa News Agency, Tajani expressed his concerns specifically about the situation in Aleppo and highlighted the efforts being made to provide assistance to Italian citizens. “I am following with attention the developments in Syria, with particular regard to the situation in Aleppo,” he shared on the social media platform X. He further reassured that the Italian embassy in Syria is actively involved in offering necessary support to the compatriots.
