Rome: Italy’s Simona Quadarella won the silver medal in the women’s 1,500m freestyle at the Swimming World Championships in Singapore on Tuesday. The 26-year-old delivered a strong performance, securing her place on the podium alongside some of the sport’s elite competitors.

According to Ansa News Agency, Quadarella finished second to American swimmer Katie Ledecky, who claimed the gold medal. Australia’s Lani Pallister completed the podium by taking the bronze.
