Stellantis Sees Decline in Italian Car Registrations in 2024

ROME: Stellantis registered 452,615 cars in Italy in 2024, reflecting a 9.9% decrease compared to the previous year, according to Dataforce calculations. The company’s market share for the year was 29%, which is a 3% decline from 2023.

According to Ansa News Agency, Stellantis’s performance in December 2024 was particularly challenging, with sales totaling 24,411 cars, marking an 18.1% drop from December 2023. The market share for that month fell to 23.1%, down 3.7% compared to the same period in the previous year.

These figures highlight a significant downturn for Stellantis in the Italian automotive market throughout 2024. The decline in both sales and market share indicates the challenges the company faced in maintaining its competitive position amidst a changing industry landscape.
