Son Orders Doctor to Save Mum at Gunpoint in Turin


Turin: An emergency services doctor was ordered to save an elderly woman at gunpoint by her son when responding to a call at a social-housing complex in Turin, as reported by the online version of the daily newspaper La Stampa.



According to Ansa News Agency, the incident unfolded with the son allegedly threatening the doctor, stating, “If you don’t save my mother I’ll kill you,” while holding a gun to the medic’s head. Despite the imminent threat, the doctor reportedly managed to focus on resuscitating the 83-year-old woman, who was suffering from heart trouble.
