Some Progress But Not Conclusive in US-Iran Nuke Talks

Rome: The fifth round of nuclear talks ended “with some progress but not conclusive,” Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi stated on X following the discussions in Rome on Friday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the statement from the mediator highlighted a sense of cautious optimism. “We hope to clarify the outstanding issues in the coming days, to move towards the common goal of reaching a lasting and honorable agreement,” al-Busaidi wrote. The current talks are a continuation of efforts to address the complex issues surrounding the US-Iran nuclear agreement.
