Rome: Janie Vardy is hoping to make his first start for Cremonese against Udinese in Serie A’s Monday night match. Leicester legend Vardy, who helped fire the Foxes to their fairy-tale Premier League win in 2016, has so far come off the bench twice for Cremonese and has yet to open his account for the Cremona outfit.

According to Ansa News Agency, the 38-year-old former England striker is aiming to help Cremonese consolidate their 10th place in the table against the 12th-placed side.
