Milan: AC Milan beat Napoli 2-1 at San Siro on Sunday despite playing a third of the game with 10 men to end the champions’ perfect start to the season and go top of Serie A on goal difference. American winger Christian Pulisic contributed to the victory by assisting an early goal for Alexis Saelemaekers and scoring himself later in the first half.

According to Ansa News Agency, Milan had Pervis Estupinan sent off in the 57th minute for thwarting a goal-scoring opportunity with a foul. Kevin De Bruyne converted a penalty for Napoli, bringing them back into contention, but Massimiliano Allegri’s team managed to secure the win.

Milan, Napoli, and third-placed AS Roma, who secured a 2-0 victory over Hellas Verona at home, each have 12 points from five games. Juventus trails by one point in fourth place after a 1-1 draw with Atalanta in Turin on Saturday, while Inter stands fifth with nine points following a 2-0 win at Cagliari.
