Toulouse: Italy’s star fullback-winger Ange Capuozzo is set to be on the sidelines for several months after his club Toulouse announced that he broke his left fibula in the French champions’ Top 14 defeat to Perpignan on Saturday.

According to Ansa News Agency,Italy coach Gonzalo Quesada had already decided to rest the 26-year-old for the upcoming summer tour of Namibia and South Africa. However, the seriousness of the injury means Capuozzo may also miss the autumn test series, during which Italy is scheduled to face Australia, South Africa, and Tonga.
