Rogue Cops Arrested for Stealing 36,000 Euros from Safe

Rome: Three rogue cops have been arrested in Rome for allegedly stealing 36,000 euros from a safe during a search in the Italian capital.

According to Ansa News Agency, the arrests were made following prompt action by investigators in the city. Rome Chief Prosecutor Francesco Lo Voi commented on the situation, expressing gratitude for the efficient work of the investigators in apprehending the officers involved. He emphasized that these individuals are not representative of the police force as a whole.

Chief Prosecutor Lo Voi further stated, “We prosecutors have full confidence in the state police,” highlighting the trust and support for the broader police force despite the actions of the arrested officers.
