Italy’s Fuel Prices Surge to Highest Level Since April

Rome: Italy’s fuel prices have reached their highest level since early April, following recent geopolitical events. Specialist publication Staffetta Quotidiana reported on Monday that the increase comes after the US conducted strikes on Iran over the weekend.

According to Ansa News Agency, the average price of unleaded petrol at self-service pumps is currently 1.748 euros per litre. Similarly, the average price for a litre of diesel has risen to 1.670 euros. These figures indicate a significant increase in fuel costs for Italian consumers, reflecting the broader impact of international conflicts on global oil prices.
