Probe into Netanyahu’s Drone Strike Order on Gaza Flotilla Boats
Rome: A spokesperson for the Global Sumud Flotilla for Gaza on Monday urged Rome prosecutors to investigate an alleged order by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to carry out drone strikes on two boats moored in Tunisia during the night of September 8-9.
According to Ansa News Agency, Maria Elena Delia, spokesperson for the Global Movement to Gaza, addressed circulating reports in foreign media that Netanyahu was behind the drone strikes on the two vessels. Delia emphasized that if these reports are confirmed, it would counter claims that the flotilla engaged in self-sabotage. She expressed hope that prosecutors would consider all information, particularly given the complaint already filed with the prosecutor’s office.
