President Mattarella Highlights Peaceful Alternatives Amid Global Violence
Pavia: Violence attracts the world but there is an alternative, President Sergio Mattarella said Friday. “From here, every day, a message emerges that is authoritatively superior to that of the violence and conflicts that are incomprehensibly attracting the world at this time,” Mattarella stated following a visit to the National Center for Oncological Hadrontherapy (CNAO) in Pavia.
According to Ansa News Agency, Mattarella expressed gratitude towards the CNAO team, commending their daily efforts. “Thank you for what you do here every day,” he said, addressing CNAO President Gianluca Vago. The President emphasized the importance of collaboration across different professional skills and vocations, suggesting that such unity offers hope for an alternative path to the current global challenges.
