PM Orbán to Visit Georgia for Bilateral Talks

Tbilisi: Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary is set to visit Georgia on October 28-29 for an official engagement focused on enhancing bilateral relations. The visit comes at the invitation of Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, and aims to strengthen cooperation between the two nations across various sectors.

According to About Hungary, Prime Minister Orbán will be accompanied by several key members of his cabinet, including Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó, Economic Development Minister Márton Nagy, and Finance Minister Mihály Varga. The visit will feature one-on-one discussions and plenary meetings between the Hungarian and Georgian delegations.

The two leaders, Kobakhidze and Orbán, are scheduled to hold a joint press conference following their meetings, where they are expected to outline the outcomes of their discussions and any agreements reached. The visit underscores Hungary’s interest in fostering closer ties with Georgia, particularly in economic and political spheres.
