No More Anti-Semitism Says Pope

Vatican City: Pope Francis said on Holocaust Remembrance Day Monday that there should be no more anti-Semitism. “Let us forcefully reaffirm today that the seeds of anti-Semitism must never again be allowed to take root in the human heart,” he said on X. “Remembering the suffering and tears of the victims of the Holocaust, let us repeat: never again!”

According to Ansa News Agency, in another post on his @Pontifex profile in nine languages, also Monday, the Argentine pontiff reiterated what he said Sunday at the Angelus: “The horror of the extermination of millions of Jewish people can neither be forgotten nor denied.” He emphasized the importance of remembering not only the Jewish victims but also many Christians, including numerous martyrs. Pope Francis called for collective efforts to eradicate anti-Semitism and all forms of religious persecution.
