Nine-Month-Old Infant Fatally Mauled by Family Dog in Acerra

Acerra: A nine-month-old girl has tragically died after being mauled by her family’s dog at their residence in Acerra, situated in the province of Naples. The incident occurred late on Saturday, as reported by sources on Sunday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the infant’s father discovered her in her bed, lying in a pool of blood. Despite the swift response and her being rushed to the emergency room, medical professionals were unable to save the child’s life.

The dog involved in the attack was reportedly a pit bull.
