Nacsa Lorinc Highlights Hungary’s Leadership in Digital Citizenship.

Budapest: On Tuesday, Lorinc Nacsa, a member of parliament from the KDNP, advocated for the reduction of bureaucracy and the simplification of state relations to be supported in parliament. He emphasized that Hungary is currently leading in digital citizenship, with particular attention to the Health Window application.

According to KDNP, the goal of the digital citizenship program is to simplify life for citizens. A key change is that from February, it will no longer be necessary for citizens to carry physical documents, as these will be available for digital download. Nacsa praised this proposal, noting that reducing physical document issuance also contributes to environmental protection.

Nacsa further explained that the digital services are designed to meet citizens’ needs, and that these needs were assessed during the preparation phase. However, he noted that participation in the digital citizenship program will remain optional. The KDNP faction has expressed its support for the proposal.
