Milan’s Pulisic Denies Rift with Coach Concei§ao
Milan: AC Milan’s United States midfielder Christian Pulisic on Thursday denied talk that relations between him and coach Sergio Concei§ao had broken down amid high tension at the seven-time European Champions following their exit from the Champions League this week.
According to Ansa News Agency, Pulisic addressed the rumors on Milan’s X account after the team’s 2-1 aggregate defeat to Feyenoord. “I have never argued with the coach and I have never asked to leave,” Pulisic stated, emphasizing his contentment at the club. “I am very happy at AC Milan and I want to continue to wear this jersey.”
Pulisic further expressed his frustration over the circulating rumors, describing them as unacceptable and urged unity among the team and fans. “Reading these lies is unacceptable, but let’s all continue to stay united and fight together on the pitch, for the club and for our fans,” he added.
The situation at AC Milan has been tense, especially after former captain Davide Calabria joined Bologna on loan in the January transfer window following a disagreement with Concei§ao.
