Pope Set to Make Full Recovery, Says CEI Head Zuppi


Vatican City: Pope Francis is set to make a full recovery, as confirmed by Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi, the president of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI). Zuppi emphasized that the Vatican has been transparent about the pontiff’s state of health.



According to Ansa News Agency, Zuppi, who is also the Archbishop of Bologna, reassured the public about the Pope’s health status. He noted that the Pope’s activities, such as having breakfast, reading newspapers, and receiving visitors, are positive signs indicating progress toward a full recovery. Zuppi has been entrusted by Pope Francis to lead the Vatican’s efforts in contributing to the end of the war in Ukraine.
