Milan’s La Scala Clamps Down on Unbecoming Outfits
Milan: La Scala has moved to clamp down on people visiting the iconic Milanese opera house in unbecoming outfits, announcing that it will start enforcing a dress code that it had failed to apply in recent years.
According to Ansa News Agency, signs inform people that entry will be denied to those wearing vests, flip-flops, and very short shorts.
“The management call on the public to choose clothing that is in keeping with the decorum of the theatre, out of respect to the theatre itself and to the other spectators,” it said.
