Meloni to Meet Merz and Carney in Rome on Saturday

Rome: Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni will have meetings with new German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and Lebanese President Joseph Aoun at her office at Palazzo Chigi in Rome on Saturday, the government’s website reported on Thursday.

According to Ansa News Agency, Merz, Carney, and Aoun are among the international leaders coming to Rome for Pope Leo XIV’s inauguration on Sunday.
