Meloni and Sisi Advocate Two-State Solution for Middle East Peace Framework

Sharm el-sheikh: A Middle East peace framework must be based on the two-state solution for Israel and Palestine, Premier Giorgia Meloni told Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in a bilateral meeting on the margins of the Middle East Peace Plan signing ceremony at Sharm el-Sheikh, her office said.

According to Ansa News Agency, “During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the next steps in implementing the peace plan, and President Meloni reaffirmed Italy’s commitment to contributing to the stabilization, reconstruction, and development of the Gaza Strip and to relaunching a political process toward a framework of peace, security, and stability in the Middle East based on the two-state solution.”
