Martina Carbonaro’s Prolonged Suffering Before Death Revealed by Autopsy

Afragola: Martina Carbonaro, a 14-year-old girl, tragically lost her life after being brutally attacked by her 18-year-old ex-boyfriend, Alessio Tucci. The incident, which took place last week, has sent shockwaves across Italy. New autopsy results reveal that Carbonaro did not succumb to her injuries immediately but endured minutes of suffering before passing away.

According to Ansa News Agency, the autopsy uncovered four main wounds on Carbonaro’s head and additional lesions on her neck. Tucci, who has confessed to the murder, claimed that he was driven to commit the act after Carbonaro refused to reconcile with him. The crime occurred in an abandoned farmhouse in Afragola, located in the province of Naples.

Medical professionals have stated that conclusive details regarding the cause of death will be determined after further tests conducted on Tuesday. The autopsy highlighted significant trauma to Carbonaro’s skull, with both the front and back parts suffering severe injuries. Additionally, a large skull fracture accompanied by hemorrhaging was discovered, further illustrating the brutality of the attack.
