Man Kills Young Woman and Attempts Suicide in Milan

Milan: A 29-year-old woman was killed by a 52-year-old man in an apartment in Milan late on Tuesday in the latest in a long string of femicides in Italy. The man dragged the woman, named as Pamela Gemini, onto the terrace of the apartment and stabbed her several times before using the same knife to cut his own throat in an attempt at suicide. He is in Milan’s Niguarda hospital and his condition is said not to be life-threatening.

According to Ansa News Agency, the victim’s former boyfriend said she was in a relationship with her killer but wanted to leave him.
