Leonardo 2024 Revenues Rise to 17.8 Billion Euros
Rome: Aerospace and defence giant Leonardo closed 2024 with a 16.2% growth in revenues to 17.8 billion euros, marking an 11.1% increase compared to the proforma data, according to the preliminary results approved by the board of directors Thursday.
According to Ansa News Agency, the group, formerly known as Finmeccanica, has recorded an increase in almost all business sectors, with results that are higher than or in line with the 2024 guidance. A note from the company highlights the significant contribution of defense and security electronics, particularly in both the European and US components, alongside the helicopters business.
EBITA for Leonardo saw a rise to 1,525 million euros, which is a 12.9% increase compared to the 2023 proforma, illustrating robust growth across its operational sectors.
