According to Ansa News Agency, the win against Brazil marks the 29th consecutive victory for Julio Velasco’s squad, the Azzurre. This achievement highlights a period of remarkable success for Italian sports teams across various disciplines.

The weekend was particularly fruitful for Italy, as the nation’s athletes excelled in multiple international competitions. On Saturday, Italian fencers Guillaume Bianchi, Filippo Macchi, Tommaso Marini, and Alessio Foconi clinched the gold medal in the team foil event at the world championships in Tbilisi.
