Italy Expands Trade Relations with Brazil’s Mato Grosso Through New Office

Cuiab¡: The Italian Chamber of Commerce of So Paulo (Italcam) is set to open a new office in Cuiab¡, the capital of the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso. So Paulo Consul General Domenico Fornara announced the development on social media, highlighting that the new office will serve as a pivotal engine for enhancing trade relations between Italy and the region.

According to Ansa News Agency, the opening of the Cuiab¡ office follows a series of strategic meetings led by Italy’s Ambassador in Brasilia, Alessandro Cortese, and Consul General Fornara. These meetings were aimed at reinforcing ties with Mato Grosso, a state that presents numerous economic opportunities.

Fornara noted that during their mission, several areas of mutual interest were identified in collaboration with the state government, the Legislative Assembly, and the Municipality of Cuiab¡. This move signifies a deepening of Italy’s commitment to fostering economic cooperation with one of Brazil’s rapidly growing states.
