Italian Retail Sales See Slight Decline in Volume in July
Rome: Italian retail sales experienced a slight decline in volume, decreasing by 0.2% in July compared to the previous month, as revealed by seasonally adjusted data from Istat.
According to Ansa News Agency, while the retail sales value remained flat month-on-month, there was a noticeable 1.8% increase in value when compared to July 2024. However, the volume of sales remained unchanged year-on-year, highlighting a discrepancy between the sales value and quantity sold during the period.
