Employees Bid Farewell to Armani in Newspaper Message

Milan: The employees of Giorgio Armani’s fashion house bid farewell to the legendary designer with a message published in the Corriere della Sera and La Repubblica newspapers on Friday after his death at the age of 91 on Thursday.

According to Ansa News Agency, the heartfelt message from the employees expressed their deep connection to the company, likening it to being part of a family. “We have always felt part of a family in this company,” the message read, highlighting the close-knit community fostered by Armani.

The employees conveyed their profound sense of loss, acknowledging the void left by the iconic designer who was both the founder and visionary of the fashion house. They praised his dedication and passion, noting that these qualities were instrumental in the growth and success of the company. “With deep emotion, today we feel the void left by the person who founded this family and helped it grow with vision, passion and dedication,” the message continued.

The commitment to honor Armani’s legacy was evident, as the employees, alongside family members who worked closely with the designer, pledged to uphold the values and spirit he instilled in the company. “But it is precisely in his spirit that together, we employees and the family members who have always worked alongside Mr. Armani, are committed to protecting what he built and to carrying forward his company in his memory, with respect, responsibility and love,” the message concluded.
