Italian House Purchases Up 1.3% in 2024 – Report

Italy: Italy registered 720,000 purchases of residential properties in 2024, a rise of 1.3% with respect to the previous year, according to a new report by the Italian inland revenue agency, L’Agenzia delle Entrate.

According to Ansa News Agency, the report stated that the combined value of these transactions was 114 billion euros, marking an increase of over 2.5 billion euros, or 2.3%, compared to 2023.

The report also highlighted that Lombardy was the region with the most active property market, recording 151,000 sales.
