Italian Fashion Days Showcase Excellence of Made in Italy in Seoul


Seoul: The Italian Embassy in Seoul hosted a networking reception dedicated to the ‘Italian Fashion Days’, a prominent event highlighting the excellence of Made in Italy fashion in the Korean market.



According to Ansa News Agency, the event saw Ambassador Emilia Gatto welcoming representatives from over 60 Italian companies specializing in the Made in Italy fashion sector. The gathering also included qualified Korean operators, journalists, and famous influencers. Among the attendees was Jang Myung-sook, also known as “Milanonna”, a notable figure in the Korean social media and fashion scene, recognized as the first Korean student to study fashion at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan in 1978.



The Italian Fashion Days are organized by Ente Moda Italia – EMI and BottegaItalia in collaboration with major trade associations such as SMI, Assocalzaturifici, Assopellettieri, and AIP. The event receives support from the ICE Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
