Italian Consumer Confidence Up, Business Confidence Down

Rome: Istat said Thursday that its consumer confidence has risen to 98.8 points this month from 98.2 in January but its business-confidence index fell from 95.7 to 94.8.

According to Ansa News Agency, on the business front, the national statistics agency said all the sectors were down except for manufacturing, where confidence improved slightly from 86.8 to 87.0.
