Italian Bond Spread Climbs Sharply

Rome: The spread between Italy’s 10-year BTP bond and the German bond rose to 130 basis points in early trading on Wednesday, up from 122 at Tuesday’s closure.

According to Ansa News Agency, the yield on the BTP increased by over 10 basis points to 3.97%.
