Milan Stock Exchange Regains Some Ground

Milan: The Milan stock exchange’s FTSE Mib index regained some ground after the opening of trading on Tuesday, rising by 1.54% to 33,361 points. This increase comes after three sessions of significant losses amid turmoil on the international money markets over US President Donald Trump’s tariffs.

According to Ansa News Agency, the recent fluctuations in the market were largely influenced by the uncertainty and volatility triggered by the tariffs imposed by President Trump. The tariffs have caused widespread concern among investors, leading to a period of instability across global markets. Despite this, the FTSE Mib index showed signs of recovery, suggesting a level of resilience in the face of ongoing economic challenges.
