Isabella Rossellini Misses Out on Supporting Actress Oscar

Los Angeles: Isabella Rossellini missed out on the best supporting actress Oscar at the Academy Awards on Sunday, after being nominated for her portrayal of a strong-willed nun in “Conclave,” Edward Berger’s adaptation of the Robert Harris thriller on cardinal conspiracy.

According to Ansa News Agency, the award instead went to Zoe Saldana for her performance in “Emilia Perez.” Additionally, set decorator Cynthia Sleiter did not secure an Oscar in the best production design category for her work on “Conclave,” resulting in Italy leaving the awards ceremony empty-handed.
