Inzaghi Leaves Inter, Ready to Sign with Al Hilal

Milan: Simone Inzaghi has informed Inter’s management of his decision to leave the club, expressing readiness to take on a new role with Saudi club Al Hilal.

According to Ansa News Agency, Inzaghi’s decision follows discussions with Inter Chairman Beppe Marotta, which took place after the team’s 5-0 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final. Despite the heavy defeat, Marotta had expressed a desire for Inzaghi to continue his tenure with the club. However, the coach, aged 49, appears to be drawn to the prospect of a lucrative offer from Al Hilal.

Inzaghi, who previously managed Lazio, has had a successful stint with Inter, securing the 2023-24 Serie A title. Since his arrival in 2021, the club also celebrated two Italian Cup victories and made two appearances in the Champions League finals.
