Good Government Rewarded in Marche Regional Elections Says Tajani

Rome: Good government was rewarded in the Marche regional elections where incumbent centre-right Governor Francesco Acquaroli was re-elected over centre-left opponent Matteo Ricci, centre-right post Berlusconi Forza Italia (FI) leader, Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said.

According to Ansa News Agency, Tajani commented on the election results during a press conference outside Palazzo Chigi. He emphasized that “good governance has been rewarded” in the region. Tajani highlighted the strength of Forza Italia, claiming that it remains a leading force and is in good health across Marche.

The re-election of Governor Acquaroli signifies continued support for the centre-right coalition in the region, underscoring the electorate’s endorsement of the current administration’s policies and governance style.
